About Bayside Executive Transfers

A local transfer service with a real person behind it.

After working in technology for around 35 years, I decided it was time for a bit of a sea change.

I'm Allan Phillips, and Bayside Executive Transfers came about in a way I hadn't really planned.

While taking some time away from the technology industry, I started doing some rideshare driving. I expected it to be temporary, but I discovered there was one part of the job I genuinely loved: early morning airport transfers.

There’s something different about them. People are heading off on holidays, travelling to see family, starting a FIFO swing or business trip, or finally getting home after a long journey. I enjoyed meeting these people, hearing their stories and helping start or finish their trip on a good note.

And it made me realise there was an opportunity to do it better.

Why I started Bayside Executive Transfers

I've always put a lot of value on being reliable, being punctual and looking after customers properly.

While driving rideshare, I was surprised by how low the bar for customer service seemed to have become. Reliability, punctuality and simply doing what you said you would do weren't always a given. Last-minute cancellations and inconsistent service had become so normal that passengers often seemed to accept that this was just how rideshare worked. I thought there was room to do things differently.

Because when you're standing outside your house at 4:00am with suitcases and a flight to catch, punctuality and reliability matter enormously.

You don't want to wonder whether a driver is going to accept your trip.

You don't want a cancellation five minutes before pickup.

And you certainly don't want to be watching the clock wondering whether you're going to make your flight.

That was really the idea behind Bayside Executive Transfers.

If I say I'll be there, I'll be there. And I'll be on time.

It’s my car, too

The vehicle you'll travel in isn't part of a fleet that gets passed from driver to driver.

It's my family's Zeekr 7X, and I look after it accordingly.

It's a premium electric SUV that's quiet, comfortable and spacious, with plenty of room for passengers and luggage. It's kept clean and well presented because it's our own car when I'm not using it for Bayside Executive Transfers.

I think that makes a difference.

Your trip, your way.

Some people jump in the car at 5:00am ready for a chat. Others haven't had their first coffee yet and would rather enjoy a quiet ride to the airport.

Both are perfectly fine with me.

I'm always happy to have a conversation, but I'm equally happy to let you sit back, enjoy the quiet and watch the world wake up through the enlightening moon roof.

There’s no script and no forced small talk.

It’s your trip.

Local by choice

Bayside Executive Transfers isn't trying to become another global rideshare company.

I live in the Redlands and the focus is deliberately local: providing dependable private transfers for people throughout Redland City and Brisbane Bayside travelling to and from Brisbane Airport and the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal.

I want customers to know who they're booking with and, hopefully, to feel comfortable booking with me again the next time they travel.

Because for me, a successful transfer isn't complicated.

Turn up when I said I would.
Provide a clean, comfortable car.
Look after you and your luggage.
Get you there safely and on time.

That's Bayside Executive Transfers.
